(AhlulBayt News Agency) - UN secretary-general's envoy Staffan de Mistura is to meet with Iranian authorities about most recent developments in Syrian.
In his visit to Tehran, De Mistura is going to meet Hossein Jaberi-Ansari, the high assistant of Iranian minister of foreign affairs for political issues, on Saturday.
De Mistura had already visited Moscow and Ankara.
The new round of Astana talks is going to be held in May 14 and 15.
He is also going to take part in a conference in Brussels with the presence of EU ministers and US representatives on 24 and 25 of April and to report to the UN Security Council.
This is while the three guarantors of the ceasefire in the de-escalation zones of Syria, i.e. Iran, Russia and Turkey, started Syria peace talks in 2017 in Astana, the Kyrgyz capital, which has had a lot of positive effects on restoring ceasefire to many parts of Syria.
